Frequently Asked Questions
Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Fontana, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.
Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Fontana is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.
The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.
We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.
A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.
If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Fontana, CA Tidbits
In 1913, the community of Fontana, California was established. Originally, Fontana was an agricultural community of chicken ranches, farms, and the town of citrus orchards. Foothill Boulevard, which was previously known as U.S route 66, and many different railroad lines ran through the community. During the 1940s and afterward, the community of Fontana was transformed rather radically.
In Fontana, there was only one steel mill west of the Mississippi River. The city experienced some explosive growth just before the San Bernardino Freeway was routed through Fontana. This region became a prominent commercial hub because of the businesses that started operating.
Located on the western outskirts of town between Cucamonga and Fontana on Foothill Boulevard is an automobile museum, which was for some time the home for many classic automobiles from the 1920s through the 1930s.
The population of Fontana was 128,929 people, according to the 2000 census. Decades later, the city's population for 2016 was 207,460 residents. This tremendous growth was primarily the result of the many large residential developments in the nearly undeveloped northern portion of Fontana, in addition to Fontana's highly successful and aggressive campaign to annex numerous developed but unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County between 2006 and 2007.
The city of Fontana is located in Southern California in San Bernardino County. The city is also located just west of the city of San Bernardino. In 1813, the city was once part of the land grant for Rancho San Bernardino. Fontana was known as "Rosena" at that time and even after it was purchased by a development company and was established in 1903. The name of the community was changed from Rosena to Fontana in 1913. The community was known back then as a citrus, hog, and poultry center.
Fontana was the location for a huge integrated steel mill in 1942. It wasn't long before other manufacturing plants opened, which transformed the basic economy of Fontana from agricultural to industrial. During the late 1900s, steel production decreased. Located in a farmhouse during the early 1900s is the Fontana Historical Museum, which demonstrates life early in Fontana and the living and economic conditions of the city.
The primary infrastructure facilities in Fontana are located next to the Interstate 10 expressway. In late 2000, the Interstate Sierra Avenue interchanges reconstruction finally got started. The rapid growth of the residential areas in the southern and northern regions of Fontana attracted more businesses and new residents.
Although over 6,000 residential homes have been constructed since 1983, several streets in South Fontana still require more projects and construction. The city government is making more programs and plans to better Fontana's urban development.
The Capital Improvements Program of the city addresses the crucial infrastructure and transportation requirements in the city that resulted from the rapid growth in Fontana. During a portion of the First Fiscal Year between 2000 and 2000 in Fontana, the city council of Fontana had officially adopted a Capital Improvements Program. Some 18 projects were undertaken for an approximate cost of between $50 million and $80 million.
Accounting for an approximate 48,000 vehicles a day and with three major state highways running through Fontana, the city is the regional center of the trucking industry. In addition, Fontana is also the home of product distribution hubs for several large national companies, many of which are car manufacturers and big-name retail shops.
