Lift your legs to relieve pressure on your lower back. Raise your torso to read or watch TV in total relaxation. Plus with pillow-tilt articulation, your neck also gets extra support when you raise your upper body. It tilts your pillow forward, so that as you read or watch TV your head is still supported by your pillow.
Wallhugger® engineering keeps your nightstand within arms reach when you raise your adjustable bed. Instead of lifting you up and away from your headboard — like most adjustable beds — Wallhugger® shifts your mattress back to keep your body in place.
The backlit wireless remote gives you complete control of your adjustable base — day or night. Adjust your head and feet manually with the up and down arrows. Or push the preset buttons to effortlessly return to your favorite positions.
Relax and unwind after a long day by flipping on the rolling full-body massage. It will soothe you from head to toe and help you drift off to a deeper, more restful sleep.
Our MicroHook™ retention system holds your mattress in place by creating gentle friction across the width of the base. This helps give your bed a sleek, modern look, since you don’t need a retainer bar sticking out from the end of your bed to keep your mattress secure. (We do provide an optional retainer bar with your base if you prefer to use one, though.)
Both sides of the adjustable bed have a four-port USB hub to keep all your devices close and fully charged. So you’ll never wake up to a low-battery warning again.
This adjustable bed can take up to seven business days to ship, and like our mattresses, this adjustable bed also ships via FedEx. Once your new base leaves our facility, it'll arrive at your doorstep between seven to ten business days.
We won’t let your comfort break down. Your adjustable bed frame features a 25 year warranty covering all steel and mechanical parts. The electronics, electrical components, drive motors, and massage motors are covered separately. We surpass anyone else with our dedication to superior service and outstanding support.
In the first year, you are covered for all defects — including the cost of labor and shipping for all steel, mechanical, and electrical parts. For years 2 and 3, you’re eligible for a limited warranty on electrical parts for any defects – you’ll just cover the service and transportation costs. After that, we continue to cover you through year 25 for all steel and mechanical parts.
Your warranty only applies to the original purchaser. The warranty registration card, included with your adjustable bed frame, MUST be returned within 30 days of receipt of the product. More information including our terms and conditions can be found on our Warranty Information page.
Adjustable beds do more than adjust to your preferred position— although that’s a huge plus for anyone with poor circulation, chronic pain, or snoring issues. Some other features you’ll find in adjustable bed frames include:
Amerisleep currently sells its adjustable base in twin XL, full, queen, and split king sizes. Most adjustable bases are built for larger sizes (i.e. larger than twin size) since they are most often used by adults and couples.
Unlike many mattresses, adjustable bases do not come with sleep trials. However, they are still backed up by warranties. Read the warranty of any adjustable bed frame you are considering to be sure any mechanical defects are covered.
Amerisleep’s adjustable bed frames comes with a 25-year warranty. For the first year, repairs and replacements are covered by Amerisleep. After that, Amerisleep offers a limited warranty for years 2-3. The customer is responsible for service and transportation costs related to new parts during this time.
During years 4-20, the manufacturer will replace steel and mechanical base parts. At this point, the warranty does not cover electronics, electrical components, drive motors, or massage motors.
Almost all warranties do not cover damage caused by the owner.
Almost anyone could benefit from using an adjustable bed frame. Your preferred sleeping position comes into play as you choose a new mattress, and certain mattress choices don’t work as well with adjustable bed frame.
Side sleepers who prefer a medium feel mattress typically like memory foam or latex beds, since they offer a good balance of support and contouring. These mattress types are great for adjustable bed frames.
Back and stomach sleepers typically prefer a firmer mattress (between medium-firm or firm). Thankfully, back and stomach sleepers won’t be left out of the adjustable base trend just because they sleep on firmer beds. Many memory foam and latex mattresses come in medium-firm or firm ranges. What’s more, firmer memory foam beds tend to be thinner than super-soft models, so they will adjust more easily.
Adjustable bed frames allow you to raise your legs and head to a higher position than the rest of the body. This is convenient if you like to read or watch TV in bed, but it also comes with great health benefits.
Anyone with back pain knows how uncomfortable sleeping can be. An adjustable bed frame takes the pressure off the back and other vulnerable pressure points, helping you to sleep pain-free. People with GERD, acid reflux, heartburn, and other digestive issues often have to sleep with a high-loft pillow to elevate their heads, keeping stomach acid out of the throat. An adjustable bed frame makes this easier. If you suffer from poor circulation, elevating your legs improves blood flow.
Snoring and sleep apnea are caused by the tongue or soft tissue of the throat blocking the airway. Gravity only makes this problem worse, which is why those suffering from these conditions usually sleep with their heads at an incline to open up the airway.
Adjustable bases allow you to elevate the head with the simple touch of a remote. If you share your bed with a snoring partner, you can press the anti-snore button and elevate their heads while they sleep without them even noticing!
Lots of companies offer a solid or split base option; that way, if you and your partner have wildly different sleep preferences, you can adjust either side to your own preferences without disrupting your partner. A split base is only compatible with a split king mattress. A solid adjustable base is a suitable option for sleep partners who share similar preferences.
Adjustable bed frames are quite heavy and can be cumbersome to set up, especially if you deal with back pain or other issues inhibiting you from setting up your bed. Lots of companies offer White Glove Delivery for an additional fee. This service makes setting up your bed easy—because you don’t have to do any of it!
While adjustable bases replace the need for a foundation, they typically don’t come with a headboard like traditional foundations do. Some people like to use their adjustable bed frame inside of their current foundation so they can keep their headboards.
Because adjustable bed bases use lots of mechanical parts, they are more likely to break down versus a traditional bed base. Repairs and replacements aren’t covered for the entire length of a warranty, so that’s why reading the warranty thoroughly is an important step before buying an adjustable base. Even the best adjustable bed frames won’t last forever.
Adjusting the positions can be noisy, as well as the massage feature if the bed has one. However, most high-quality adjustable bed frames are built with fairly quiet mechanical features, so you shouldn’t be too bothered by the sound.
Some adjustable bed frame models allow you to adjust the height of the bed as well as your posture and sleep position. The Amerisleep Adjustable Bed Frame does not have adjustable legs, but the height of the bed should accommodate most, if not all, sleepers.
The Amerisleep Adjustable Bed Frame allows you to adjust your sleeping position for optimal rest, healthy posture, and increased circulation all night long. You can also conveniently watch TV or read in bed while maintaining a healthy posture. With their bed package deal, you can get an adjustable bed frame and one of their pressure-relieving, comfortable mattresses at a great price.
Latex and memory foam mattresses are the most flexible mattress type and work best with adjustable bases. Hybrid and innerspring mattresses are made with coil springs in the base, so they may be damaged if bent into a different shape.
Additionally, keep in mind that thinner mattresses work better with adjustable bases— a mattress more than 14 inches thick will not be as flexible and may not work with an adjustable base. Check with the manufacturer to see if your bed is compatible with an adjustable base. Some brands offer mattress and bed bundles, allowing you to purchase an adjustable bed frame and compatible mattress at a discounted price.
An adjustable base is significantly more expensive than most traditional bases, but for many, they’re worth the extra cost. Because they are quite expensive, it’s important to get one with a generous warranty since some adjustable bases are prone to breaking down.
Some adjustable bed frames are covered by Medicare, so check with your doctor for more information. Most adjustable bed frames available today cost between $1,000 and $3,500.
Split queen beds are not as common as split kings, but they are available to use with split queen size adjustable bed frames. A split queen is made up of two bases 30 inches wide and 80 inches long. You can use them side by side or next to each other.
