Frequently Asked Questions

When is the Best Time to Buy a Mattress?

Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Fountain Hills, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.

Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Fountain Hills is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.

The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.

What is the Best Mattress of 2019?

We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.

How Often Should You Replace Your Pillow?

A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.

If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Fountain Hills, AZ Tidbits

Fountain Hills is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona. It has over 22,000 locals and is named after the large fountain that shoots water out of a nozzle enclosed in a water lily-designed structure sitting in the middle of a man-made lake. It is the fourth tallest fountain in the world and is one of the most visited landmarks in Arizona.

Aside from this famous fountain, Fountain Hills is surrounded by beautiful mountains and lakes. It was developed in the late 1960s by an entrepreneur and the chief developer of a world-class amusement park. The town was originally a cattle holding in Arizona, but it quickly became a residential community and is now one of the most beautiful and affordable suburbs in the state.

The town has a long and colorful history. In fact, there are eight fountains on Avenue of Fountains as part of the town's public projects. One popular destination in Fountain Hills is the regional park, which has over 50 miles of trail that's perfect for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. The park has 21,099 acres of desert terrain. Motor bikers frequent the park's three loop tracks for competitive sports. Then, there is also an 8.2 miles long loop and another sport loop of 3 miles, and the technical loop is only 2.9 miles long.

There are also banked turns, rollers, and loops near the mountain. There are many wild plants and animals running rampant in the desert scenery like the deer, coyote, javelina, and several bird species. While there are short miles, there are also really long ones like the 15.3-mile-long trail.

The park is located just four miles north of Fountain Hills and is a popular camping ground. There are 76 dedicated spaces for tents. The areas have water, electric outlets, picnic tables, and fire rings. There are more remote areas for camping for the full unplugged experience without any electrical hookups and common comforts.

The Saguaro Lake, which is twenty minutes from Fountain Hills, is also a favorite spot for boating and fishing. Visitors report seeing eagles and animals overhead or on the shore, with bass, trout, and catfish in the water. Near the lake is a beach that has a trail leading back to the mountain.

Kayak, fishing equipment, and horses can be used to get around the lake and the nearby park. There's a nearby paddleboat service that has been around since 1964 in the area. It is considered the number one cruise service on lake.

Fountain Hills has an interesting history when it comes to ancient indigenous cultures. In this area, there are Maricopa tribes that lived along the Colorado River. During the early 1800s, these tribes forged a partnership and friendship with the indigenous villages in Pima County in an effort to protect themselves from other tribes.

According to historical research, these tribes are the descendants of an ancient indigenous people who inhabited a greater portion of prehistoric Arizona. Many of their structures and artifacts can be seen in museums today. They are believed to have settled in the area as far back as 300 B.C.
