Frequently Asked Questions
Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Vail, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.
Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Vail is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.
The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.
We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.
A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.
If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Vail, AZ Tidbits
Vail, Arizona just had 10,208 residents during the 2010 census. The city is surrounded by mountains and caves. The city is an intersection point of natural beauty for which it is well-known.
Like many cities in Arizona, Vail was first inhabited by ancient indigenous people. The history of Vail began with railroad tracks created by a railroad company when it decided to forge a line through Arizona in 1880. In 1927, the railroad passed through downtown Vail. Even now, visitors will see historic remnants of the city's railway history. Because the train always passed by the area, it became known as the "town between the tracks".
The town got its name from two brothers who wanted to build their own ranch and start their own businesses in the areas next to Tucson. They decided to build a ranch ten miles north of Sonoita. This ranch continues to operate and is considered one of the largest ranches in the entire state of Arizona.
The ranch has been in operation for more than 140 years, making it a historic establishment. It dates back to 1870, making it a part of the national register of historic places. Some of the 19th century furnishings are still used inside the house. It is located within a 1,000-acre preserve. After it was established, the ranch became a major factor in Arizona's cattle industry. It also drew many people into investing and settling in what would eventually become the city of Vail.
The place's name first appeared as "Vails" in a map in 1893, but it just became "Vail" later on. The town became a stop for stagecoaches, freight trains, and even mining activities. The Vail community was filled with people who were hard at work and wanted to start their own businesses.
Some of the residents were descended from early European settlers, but there were also Mexicans and people from local tribes. Although the town's history began long ago in the 19th century, its incorporation had only begun in 2011. Like many towns in the west, Vail began as a town trains would just pass through, but it soon grew into its own, especially when it came to cattle ranching.
Vail is also known for a large cave system that contains 3.5 miles of underground passageways. The cave is a dry one, which means that its formations don't grow. The cave has historical importance since it was first used by an ancient people from 900 to 1450 A.D. Other local tribes also used the caves
Although the caves had been around for thousands of years, it was only rediscovered in 1879 by the owner of a nearby hotel who had been looking for lost cattle. There was a lot of guano in the cave so the locals built a tunnel through so that seven train cars could pass through, carrying guano. The cave was eventually abandoned when the guano ran out.
It has now been preserved and is now part of a mountain park, which is also home to other caves. Many researchers now protect and study the caves. Within the park, there are also other places to see and visit like the ranch museum, which has galleries about the natural history of the cave, as well as the wildlife in the area.
