Frequently Asked Questions

When is the Best Time to Buy a Mattress?

Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Chandler, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.

Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Chandler is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.

The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.

What is the Best Mattress of 2019?

We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.

How Often Should You Replace Your Pillow?

A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.

If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Chandler, AZ Tidbits

The city of Chandler is one of the major communities in the Phoenix metropolitan statistical area, with over 250,000 residents. Its founder was a popular historical figure in Arizona who helped develop many cities and towns in the state through new irrigation system and canals.

Chandler first started out as a farm land with 80 acres. This soon expanded into 18,000 acres. A town site was planned, with the intention of splitting up the thousand-acre ranch for a better urban development area. Parcels of the farm land were sold to people from out of state who wanted to own properties in Arizona. These people came on the train spent as much as $50,000 for land.

During the 20th century, the town of Chandler only had a grocery store, a town site office, and a dining hall. It slowly became a booming center of business and residence. In fact, Chandler became the home of many satellite offices for big companies. It is the home of thousands of residents, which is a far cry from its early days, back when there were only 3,800 people in the city in 1950.

Although there are a lot of modern establishments in the city, the downtown district of Chandler is home to many historic sites that date back to the city's origins in the late 1800s. It is also where visitors will find several vintage-style lanterns and trellis-covered walkways. This was part of the city's design style, which was popular during the late 19th century. The downtown area is home to the city hall, several boutiques, a community center, and the city's museums.

The city of Chandler is also home to the state's railway museum, which houses old rail cars and several artifacts from the town's first trains. There are over 24,000 items in their archives. Outside the office, there are three old rail cars from different moments in the city's history. Speaking of the Chandler's history, the city also has its own local museum, which has a large collection of photos, documents, and historical items.

One of their featured collections comes from a music teacher at one of Chandler's early schools. This consists of photos, scrapbooks, and journals that date back to the 1920s. The current museum is housed in a 3,300 square-foot historic house, but a new one is being constructed on a much larger space. In 1982, the residents of Chandler decided that there needed to be another museum to preserve and teach the city's history. The new museum will be a 10,000 square-foot building on the same grounds as the present museum.

The city of Chandler is a place for people with eclectic taste and those who want to experience different kinds of recreational fun and entertainment. Aside from the galleries and museums, Chandler also has multiple natural parks and zoos. Chandler's historic district is the site of many old houses, like a farm bungalow that was built in 1917. Another residential structure in the district was built in 1912. Eventually, the house was given to the city in a bid to preserve Chandler's history.
