Frequently Asked Questions
Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Buckeye, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.
Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Buckeye is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.
The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.
We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.
A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.
If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Buckeye, AZ Tidbits
The city of Buckeye in Arizona was once called "Sidney" after the founder's home state in Ohio. Fortunately, it was changed to "Buckeye" after one of the town's most important constructions, a local canal. When settlers came from Ohio to the Arizona region, they developed 10 miles of a canal from 1884 to 1886. They named this "Buckeye Canal" after Ohio, which was fondly called "The Buckeye State".
A town developed in the area and it was originally called "Sydney", but the people didn't take to the name. Instead, they preferred to call it "Buckeye" because of the significance of the canal, which helped the town farm and harvest crops.
The town was incorporated in 1929, which was 19 years after the name officially became "Buckeye". It had 440 acres and was managed by a local bank. Before any of these things happened, though, Buckeye was already inhabited by several settlers.
In 1888, the first post office was established in the area. The town continued to grow when a prominent railway company established a line in 1910. The post office was also called "Buckeye" then so the initial plan to call it Sydney was never actualized.
Then, in 1935, the town started to celebrate its first local festival, which involved a rodeo, a carnival, a parade through the streets, and several dances. Although not as busy as nearby cities in the Phoenix metropolitan area, Buckeye has its small-town charm.
Buckeye still has that Old West atmosphere when it comes to historic buildings, old celebrations and festivals, and natural parks. The largest park in town is a recreational facility, which spans 23 acres of space. There are several large fields for softball and baseball, a basketball court, a covered playground area, and walking paths for joggers.
Other parks also have sprawling grassy areas with picnic tables, ramadas, and a playground area. Several recreational centers also have a skate park, a dais for live performances, and fields for other games and tournaments. The city's nearby regional park is connected to the Sonoran desert and the Gila River through numerous trails.
The city of Buckeye has a lot to offer its more than 60,000 residents and tourists. The city's local museum houses pre-Columbian pottery, photographs, and some artifacts from the 19th century. The museum was first started in 1954 and now it museum has more exhibits and galleries that display vintage and antiquated items from the city's early days. The city is now more than a hundred years old and is well-known for having preserved much of its Old West history.
Buckeye was considered the seventh fastest growing cities in the country in 2016. During the 1900 census, the city only had 200 residents. After a decade, it experienced a 242 percent increase when it had 684 residents. Then, during the 2010 census, it had 50,876 residents. The recent survey in 2016 revealed that the city of Buckeye had 64,629 locals. Six schools districts and a private academy serve the students of the city. Buckeye has a water area of 0.13 square miles and a land area of 392.37 square miles.
