Frequently Asked Questions
Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Peoria, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.
Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Peoria is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.
The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.
We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.
A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.
If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Peoria, AZ Tidbits
Peoria is a city in Arizona that saddles both Maricopa and Yavapai Counties. It was named after Peoria, Illinois where the community's first settlers were from. A canal was constructed with the help of workers recruited from nearby areas. Some of them came from Peoria, Illinois.
Peoria, Arizona was eventually recognized on the county map in 1897. Ever since then, Peoria has been considered as one of the most charming cities in the state of Arizona. It is a major community in Phoenix and had 154,065 residents during the 2010 census. In fact, Peoria is the sixth largest Arizona city in terms of land area and the ninth in terms of population size. This hasn't diminished the city's high standard of living, though. In 2008, a finance Magazine called it one of the Top 100 Places to Live.
Aside from the city's history and major economic progress, it's also known as the gateway to a nearby lake, which is one of the most beautiful natural features in Arizona. It's managed by the Maricopa County parks and recreation department. The park where the lake resides has several facilities like a group campground, picnic shelters, grills, tables, and a restroom.
One park camp ground has over 10 covered tables and a barbecue grill. At the north entrance of the park are a four-lane boat ramp and a day-use area, which has over 23 covered picnic tables. One of the city's most prominent natural landmarks in the area is a lagoon that is surrounded by desert scenery and provides an oasis amid the hot landscape.
Peoria is surrounded by nearby cities and communities with historic attractions. Just a short ride from the city is Jerome, one of the oldest mining towns in the region. It's also considered the largest of its kind in Arizona. Jerome used to be the one of the largest cities in the state after it was founded in 1876. Unfortunately, its population started to decline in the following years.
Only around a hundred people still lived in the area in the 1900s. Eventually, it was registered as a historic place and is now an artist community and a tourist destination. There are only around 450 people living in Jerome.
One of the city's oldest buildings is a railway depot that was built in 1895. It was originally constructed on 83rd Avenue in Peoria, but it was relocated to Scottsdale in 1972 after it was sold. Now, it stands on a park in the area.
The city of Peoria was incorporated in 1954 with almost 2,000 residents. Back when it was still a new town, the city had 300 residents in 1910. The 2010 census reported that Peoria had 108,364 people living in it. The most recent survey estimated that the city had 164,173 residents during the 2016 report.
Peoria has a water area of 3.42 square miles and 175.68 square miles. Because of the city's huge size, it is considered the largest incorporated community in Yavapai County. There are only two rivers running along the city, which is also bordered to the north with many mountains and hills.
