Frequently Asked Questions
Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Paradise Valley, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.
Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Paradise Valley is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.
The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.
We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.
A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.
If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Paradise Valley, AZ Tidbits
Paradise Valley is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona. The latest census revealed its population size to be 12,820 people. It is smaller compared to the bigger cities in the region, but it is considered an affluent town, with prime real estate, luxury golf courses and country clubs, large shopping plazas, and fine-dining restaurants with lots of five-star reviews.
The town has a very successful tourism industry, and the main draw for tourists to the area is Paradise Valley's eight full-service resorts. It is the richest town in the Phoenix metropolitan statistical area, but the town came from much humble beginnings. During the 1800s, a canal company developed a land that lay between two mountains.
The company turned this into a farmland and in 1889, the surveyors sent to the area called it "Paradise Valley" because of its scenic beauty and natural landscape. There were a few settlers in the area, but the town became a residential community only after the middle of the 1940s.
Paradise Valley then was a very rural residential area. Although it is considered a very luxurious town now, the early residents reportedly hadn't wanted large shopping centers and commercial complexes in the community. A citizens' committee for town's incorporation was created by residents who did not want a large business district to be established in their community in the 1950s.
It was also during this time that the cities of Phoenix and Scottsdale were looking to expand their area. According to historians, the residents of Paradise Valley were afraid that their small town would be enveloped by one of the cities and they would lose their rural atmosphere.
The committee petitioned to get the town incorporated so that it wouldn't be annexed by other cities. On May 24, 1961, Paradise Valley was incorporated and established as an official town and part of the statistical area in the Phoenix region. The town's first council was eventually formed when Paradise Valley only had around 2,000 residents. Although there are some commercial establishments in the area, the town was able to preserve its largely residential, country-like setting.
One of the attractions in Paradise Valley is a bronze landmark that stands in a cactus garden with stone walls and a bench. There garden has a winding pathway and an inscription about the landmark's historical importance. It was created on February 14, 2004 and is the centerpiece of the garden located at the corner of Tatum Boulevard and Lincoln Drive.
The garden is also surrounded by patterned walls taken from indigenous people's designs that contain eight medallions. The garden is a largely quiet place that has a small bridge over a dry stream bed. On the other side of the walkway is a small waterfall. Along the path are native plants and there are hummingbirds all over the place.
Paradise Valley is well-known for its resorts, most of which are just a few minutes from downtown Scottsdale. They usually have more than one outdoor pool that visitors can enjoy and some properties in the town have beautiful landscapes composed of cacti and palm trees. There are also fitness centers and health clubs as well as a basketball and tennis courts.
