Frequently Asked Questions

When is the Best Time to Buy a Mattress?

Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Mesa, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.

Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Mesa is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.

The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.

What is the Best Mattress of 2019?

We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.

How Often Should You Replace Your Pillow?

A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.

If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Mesa, AZ Tidbits

Mesa, Arizona is a city located in Maricopa County, with 439,041 people during the 2010 census. It is considered the third largest city in the state and the 38th largest one in the entire country. It comes after Phoenix and Tucson in terms of the number of residents. Mesa is one of the cities in the state considered to be home to many historic natural structures used by ancient people thousands of years ago.

Arizona is home to many archeological sites and ruins left behind by an ancient indigenous culture. One of their ancient edifices is now part of Mesa's cultural park. This cultural and historical park was created to preserve ancient ruins that were once occupied by local tribes between 1100 and 1400 A.D. These were buildings used by the people who settled in the Salt River Valley region. They were well-known for their water canal and irrigation system that were more advanced than those of other indigenous tribes.

There are two popular historical mounds in the Phoenix metropolitan area. One is in Phoenix while the other one is in Mesa. The latter is home to a large ruin that was once made of adobe walls. Many artifacts have been found near the area. There are arrow heads, axe heads, shards of pottery, and many of them were dug and collected by residents of the city during the 1960s and 70s.

The park is managed by Arizona's museum of natural history although it is still undeveloped. It was just recently opened to the public in 2013 and is still undergoing renovations to make space for new exhibits and better facilities.

The main attraction of the park is another mound whose natural walls were made of caliche. It is 27-feet-high and is reportedly wider than the average United States football field. In front of the mound is a plaza surrounded by adobe walls. At the park is also a replica of an ancient ball court, which was where the local tribe members played ball games using a rubber ball.

Near the archeological site is a natural history museum that is considered one of the largest in Arizona. It hosts a few more exhibits about ancient cultures and the region's history. It is located in Mesa and includes a display on the different cultures of the ancient Americas. The Cenozoic lobby houses exhibit models of animals from the Pliocene and Pleistocene epochs. There are artifacts and fossils of animals like the great big mammoth, American lion, one-toed horse, and other animals that lived three million years ago. There are also galleries that depict the culture of Mesoamerica and South America.

Aside from the prehistoric and ancient sites in Mesa, there are also historic buildings and residential structures that were preserved since the town's incorporation in 1883. There is even one structure that was built in 1894 and is located on East First Avenue. Another historic building is a hotel, which was built in 1893 and was reconstructed in 1922.

There are also many old houses in the city built in the 19th century when the city was still a small town. Three historic houses that were built in 1896, in 1902, and in 1906 were constructed using the several architectural designs. A two-story residential structure was also built in 1909 and served as the house of a prominent family in Mesa.
