Frequently Asked Questions
Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Gilbert, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.
Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Gilbert is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.
The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.
We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.
A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.
If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Gilbert, AZ Tidbits
The most populous incorporated town in the entire United States of America has something to do with horses. The town of Gilbert, Arizona is considered the "Hay Shipping Capital of the World". Located in Maricopa, Gilbert reportedly had 208,453 residents in the 2010 census and its population grows every year, with a population of 237,133 people during the 2016 survey. It has a land area of 68 square miles and a water area of 0.20 square miles.
The history of the town began with American pioneers who occupied a piece of land that was once sold to the Arizona Eastern Railway in 1902. This acre of land became the railway's right-of-way for a line that would connect the communities of Phoenix and Florence. After the railway was opened, the town where the line ran through experienced an industrial boom.
In 1910, a store was opened in the new community. Later on, in 1912, a post office was established. In the same year, immigrants from Mexico moved to what was then called "Gilbert" to start their own communities. The town was eventually incorporated in 1920 and it was known as the "Hay Shipping Capital of the World" from 1911 to the 1920s because the town had kept alive its large, farming communities. When soldiers' horses needed hay, Gilbert provided.
Because of the town's historic importance, there are a lot of interesting places that attract millions of visitors every year. The city also has notable buildings that its residents are proud of, including a modern theater and several game establishments and a commercial plaza.
The city is also home to the San Tan Village, which has beautiful structures and features, some of which are old while the others were constructed just a decade ago. Aside from the plaza, the town's Heritage District is also the location of many old structures. The heritage district has some historic buildings like the elementary school, which was built 1913.
It now serves as the building for the historical museum. The high school was built in 1920, just two years after another local center was constructed. There are many more old buildings in Gilbert and many of them have been preserved, mostly now serving as structure for new stores and offices.
Because of its large number of residents, the town of Gilbert was once considered the fastest growing municipality in the entire country from 1990 to 2003. Until 2009, it was also considered the fourth fastest growing one. Throughout the 2000s, the town was considered one of the best places to live in by various lifestyle magazines.
Additionally, it was also ranked as one of the Top 25 Safest Cities in the United States of America by a national report. In 2005, Gilbert also had the highest median household income in the entire Phoenix area among places with a minimum of 50,000 residents.
