Each side of the Dual Comfort Pillow uses Amerisleep’s Bio-Pur® material. Bio-Pur®’s advanced open-cell structure is more breathable and responsive than traditional memory foam, so it stays cool and doesn’t leave you feeling “stuck” when you adjust positions.
Our Dual Comfort pillow comes in two heights (or lofts). Picking the right loft helps your neck stay in even better position as you sleep. We recommend back sleepers use the low-loft option. And we suggest the mid-loft option for side and combo sleepers.

The Dual Comfort Pillow comes with a 10-year warranty. We may replace or repair the pillow if it is defective due to faulty workmanship or materials. These include physical flaws in the product that cause the material to split or crack despite normal usage and proper handling and abnormal deterioration of the foam core cell structure that causes the product to not return to its basic shape. This warranty does not cover the pillow for normal wear and tear, or a normal increase in softness of the core material which does not affect the adaptive qualities of the pillow.

Find a locationThe right pillow thickness depends on your sleep style and body type. For example, those with broader shoulders need thicker pillows. We recommend our low-loft Dual Comfort Pillow for back and stomach sleepers, while side sleepers prefer the mid-loft option for its extra height.
Our Dual Comfort Pillow feels soft on one side and firm on the other. If you like a softer pillow, you’ll prefer the plusher side of our Dual Comfort Pillow. Alternatively, sleepers who prefer firm pillows will find the most comfort sleeping on the firmer side of this pillow.
We include two solid pieces of Bio-Pur® in our Dual Comfort Pillow—one piece is firmer and the other is softer. Bio-Pur® is an ultra-breathable and responsive foam and it’s also CertiPUR-US® certified, so it’s free of harsh chemicals making it better for you while you sleep.
Most stomach sleepers need a very thin pillow to avoid craning their neck. Some stomach sleepers even ditch their pillow altogether. Our low-loft Dual Comfort Pillow may suit some stomach sleepers, but others will need something even thinner.
One side of our Dual Comfort Pillow feels firm, while the other side is a bit plusher and more contouring. Deciding which side is right for you ultimately comes down to personal preference.
Side sleepers generally prefer pillows within 3 to 6 inches thick, that’s why we recommend our 6-inch mid-loft Dual Comfort Pillow for those who prefer to sleep on their side. Pillows of this thickness nicely fill the gap between the shoulder and the head while sleeping to maintain alignment and ease discomfort.
Back sleepers tend to find the most comfort on thinner, contouring pillows because they keep the neck propped in line with the rest of the body while cushioning the head and neck. We also suggest back sleepers choose softer pillows to avoid waking up with a stiff neck or headaches.
Memory foam is known for its “new” smell—like a new car or new paint, it has a chemical-like scent. However, we use non-toxic, CertiPUR-US®-certified Bio-Pur® in our mattresses and pillows to reduce the chances of off-gassing.
Memory foam pillows are excellent for those with neck pain because they mold to your head and neck to ease pressure and alleviate pain. Other pillow fillings can’t contour and cradle your neck as memory foam can, so they’re not as equipped to combat pain.
Our Dual Comfort Pillow does not qualify for our 100-night sleep trial, meaning it’s a final sale item and is not eligible for exchanges or returns. It does come with a 10-year warranty, though.
