Frequently Asked Questions
Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in The Woodlands, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.
Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in The Woodlands is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.
The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.
We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.
A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.
If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

The Woodlands, TX Tidbits
The Woodlands is a community located in Texas, with more than 100,000 residents and is famous for being an award-winning township. It is near Interstate 45 so a trip to Houston is just around a few minutes. Because of its landscape, the community is home to several large companies, and it was given the Special Award for Excellence in 1994.
The Woodlands started when the town site was first bought by a real estate community in 1997. However, that company was later bought out by another developer in 2003. The latter, meanwhile, was eventually sold to another group a year later. Eventually, in 2011, The Woodlands found itself in the hands of another land development corporation.
Throughout the many changes over the years, The Woodlands managed to retain its serene natural landscape and its sense of community. The township covers a total of 43.9 square miles of land and water. There are around 130 parks in The Woodlands, each with its own unique features.
The Woodlands was once occupied by a lumber mill surrounded by several villages. In honor of this, the city also calls its neighborhoods "villages". The Woodlands contains the communities of Alden Bridge, Cochran's Crossing, College Park, Creekside Park, Grogan's Mill, Indian Springs, Panther Creek, and Sterling Ridge. The parks from the various villages are connected through pathways.
The town center also offers recreational parks like Evergreen Park on 950 Evergreen Circle. It's perfect for fishing since it has a lake beside a covered ramada. The Millennium New Park on 5 Waterway Avenue has a chaise seating, which is popular among locals. A nearby Koi pond also attracts several visitors every day.
Several more town center parks include the Olmstead Park on 109 East Shore Drive, Riva Row Park on 2101 Riva Row, and the Town Green Park on 2099 Lake Robbins Drive. This happens to be the downtown central park of the township. It is located along The Woodlands Waterways and has four acres of land composed of a sprawling green lawn, an elevated platform for entertainment and stage performances, a labyrinth with characters from Aesop's fables, and an amphitheater for children.
The park is also home to the Veterans' Monument, which was dedicated on Veterans Day in 2015. The Way Home, which was made in honor of the heroism of two The Woodlands residents in 2007, is another historic landmark in the township. There are several prominent features in the city, including water fountains located in the one-acre park at the public plaza.
The city's villages also have several community and family parks. The Acacia Park on 147 Acacia Park Drive has belt swings and bucket swings, as well as drinking fountains and picnic tables where parents can stay while their kids play around the park.
The Alden Bridge Park on 7725 Alden Bridge Drive is the village's central park. Aside from being the location of the neighborhood's pool center, it also has basketball courts, play equipment for younger and older kids, BBQ pits, drinking fountains, a fishing lake, picnic tables, several pavilions, soccer fields, tennis courts, slides, and volleyball courts.
The Woodlands has several school districts that manage many elementary, middle, and high schools. The Conroe, Magnolia, and the Tomball Independent School Districts serve the schools in the city.
