Frequently Asked Questions
Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Thornton, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.
Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Thornton is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.
The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.
We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.
A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.
If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Thornton, CO Tidbits
Thornton, Colorado is located in the Adams and Weld Counties and is ten miles north of Downtown Denver. In the 2010 census, Thornton had 118,772 residents, which is a 44.2 percent increase from its 2000 population size. This makes Thornton Colorado's sixth most populous city, as well as the 213th most populous city in the United States.
The city's history started in 1952 when a new housing development was announced outside Denver. It was originally just farmland until it was turned into a residential area. It was Adams County's first planned community and was also the first to offer full municipal services. It was later named "Thornton".
When the town was opened to the public in 1953, there were only three model houses. In that same year, construction began for 30 more houses due to the considerable public interest. By January 31, 1954, there were more than 40 families in the new town of Thornton.
Many businesses and entertainment complexes were soon established. The first commercial center opened for business in Thornton in 1955 and it housed a grocery store. During this time, there were already more than 6,000 people residing in Thornton, but most of them were against incorporation. A year later in 1956, people changed their minds and Thornton was incorporated as a city, with 8,640 residents. It was the 11th largest city in the state at the time. Two years after, the city's first municipal building was constructed.
Thornton continued to grow, with its population increasing year after year. In 1963, the city was able to hold the first Thornton Annual Festival Days to commemorate its early days and current status quo. In 1964, several people considered changing the city name, but it never happened.
The city has 81 city parks covering nearly 2,000 acres of land. There are also 80 miles of trails throughout Thornton. In the 2010 census, there were around 30,000 families living in the city. There was also a large number of residents who had Asian heritage, but the biggest non-European ethnic community in the city consisted of people who were either Hispanic or who had Latin American roots.
Thornton has a median annual household income of $66,948, which is higher than the median household income of the country. Many of the residents who earned higher salaries were Alaskan natives and Asian Americans. Many cities in the state of Colorado had residents coming from Libya. Thornton is no different. A large number of its residents also come from the Congo, Mexico, Germany, and Canada. Of those who speak another language aside from English, most of them are native speakers of Spanish, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
In 2014, the city's median property value was at $210,600. After a year, it increased to $219,600. The average number of cars belonging to a single household is two, and the number of homeowners, compared to renters, has been increasing every year. The city is relatively affluent, with several households taking home a yearly average of $250,000 in salary. Most of the residents hold administrative jobs, followed by managerial positions and sales.
