Frequently Asked Questions
Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Chula Vista, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.
Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Chula Vista is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.
The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.
We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.
A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.
If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Chula Vista, CA Tidbits
Chula Vista is San Diego metropolitan area's second-largest city and the state of California's fourteenth-largest city. It means beautiful view in Spanish, and it is often considered to have the most beautiful tropical view in the area.
With a population of over 200,000 as of 2010 census, this city is at the center of the richest economic and culturally diverse zones in the United States and is so named because of its location between the San Diego Bay and coastal mountain foothills. The city offers various parks, sports fields, recreational activities, and picnics areas for both people to enjoy.
The city of Chula Vista started with 5,000 acres. The first house in the area was constructed in 1887. Two years later, ten houses were erected in the community. A land company from San Diego oversaw the development of the new town. The new community's first agricultural industry revolved around the planting and harvesting of lemons. When a dam was completed in 1888, it gave Chula Vista better irrigation, and it soon became the biggest lemon-growing city in the entire world for a period.
The city was incorporated in 1911. An aircraft corporation stationed its headquarters in Chula Vista in 1941. This changed the town from a citrus grove into an industrial city. From a population of only 5,000 residents in 1940, the number increased to 16,000 people in just one decade. In 1963, the city was considered the second largest of its kind in San Diego County. In 2003, the city had 200,000 residents and was the seventh fastest growing city in the entire United States of America.
The city is composed of the neighborhoods of West Chula Vista and East Chula Vista. These neighborhoods are composed of several communities, one of which was annexed in 1986. The city also has master planned communities, which were created in the 1980s like Rando del Rey, Eastlake, and Millennia, among others.
Chula Vista is also home to several parks and non-profit organizations. One is devoted to providing environmental education on coastal resource conservation and advocates the importance of respect for nature and wildlife by all. The center houses local marine life, reptiles, and other native creatures, where Eastern Pacific green sea turtles swim to greet visitors. There are also friendly rays in the interactive touch pool and four different local shark species in the center's 21,000 gallon exhibit. There are also native birds of prey including hawks, owls, osprey, and even turkey vultures. It has over 2,400 different plant species. The center promotes learning about local plant species and pollinators such as bees, hummingbirds, and butterflies at the garden.
Chula Vista, has over 60 parks. There is also a 20.4 acre park that has a ball field, open green space, picnic area, play equipment, and a soccer field located on Buena Vista Way. The Otay Valley Regional Park is a multi-jurisdictional park which runs through Chula Vista and has trails for hikers, bikers, and equestrians.
