Frequently Asked Questions

When is the Best Time to Buy a Mattress?

Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Temecula, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.

Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Temecula is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.

The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.

What is the Best Mattress of 2019?

We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.

How Often Should You Replace Your Pillow?

A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.

If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Temecula, CA Tidbits

Temecula, California is well-known for being one of the jewels of the Temecula Valley. It is best known for its orchards, farmlands, and ranches. The fact is the majority of Temecula is covered with beautiful yards and farms that plant and harvest grapes. It is located in Riverside County and is part of the Inland Empire. Its post office was established in 1859, and the city was incorporated on December 1, 1989.

The city of Temecula has an elevation of 1,017 feet and a total area of 37.28 square miles. In the 2010 census, it had a population of 100,097 residents. In 2016, this increased by 12.9 percent when the city was home to over 113,054 people. Temecula was part of a land grant called Rancho Temecula, which was given to an individual in 1844.

Temecula was situated near Temecula Creek. In 1857, a stagecoach line passed through Temecula Valley. Another overland mail stagecoach line passed through the city and often stopped at a store in Temecula. The city's post office was then created at the store on April 22, 1859. It was the first postal office in the Inland Southern California region.

In 1882, a railway line extended into Temecula, connecting it to National City. It wasn't long before the pioneers had built a settlement around the tracks. After a year, the train tracks were extended into the city of San Bernardino. During the 1900s, the city became a shipping point for grain and cattle. Before the city's incorporation in 1989, the city was called Rancho California, a land of 97,500 acres that were purchased from a ranch situated near the I-15 corridor.

Temecula's history is preserved in its regional museum. The exhibits feature antique farming equipment, obscure artifacts, and photographs that provide a historical account of how the city has transformed into one of Southern California's most thriving communities. It is located at 28314 Mercedes Street. The city is also home to an interactive history gallery where children can pretend to man a 19th-century cash register, cook using an 1880 toy stove, play with vintage puppets, and more.

The city's monument park has play equipment, historical landmarks and structures that preserve the culture and identity of Temecula. At the center of the park is the coast live oak, simply called the valley's "Great Oak." It is the oldest one of its kind in the country, and maybe even in the world since it has been around for 2,000 years.

Temecula is home to some of the best farming areas and ranches in Southern California. The wide-open spaces are surrounded by the rolling hills, and the area is affectionately known for its fruit orchards. A nearby ecological preserve contains more than 90 miles of bike trails. There are several different historical locations in addition to high-quality restaurants, antique stores, and art galleries in Old Town Temecula. One of the most popular weekend attractions in Temecula is the farmers' market.

The ethnic makeup for the residents of Temecula indicates that there are more than 200 residents with Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander heritage and more than 763 people with indigenous tribe roots. Also, 2.9 percent of the population is African American while 3.9 percent is Asian. About 8.7 percent of the population make up the Hispanic or Latin community in Temecula, while the rest have ancestry dating to European settlers.
