Frequently Asked Questions

When is the Best Time to Buy a Mattress?

Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Rancho Cucamonga, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.

Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Rancho Cucamonga is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.

The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.

What is the Best Mattress of 2019?

We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.

How Often Should You Replace Your Pillow?

A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.

If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA Tidbits

Located at the bottom of the San Gabriel Mountains, California is the city of Rancho Cucamonga. The region is located near the downtown district of the City of Los Angeles. The first inhabitants of Rancho Cucamonga were indigenous settlers. This was prior to a land grant that was provided by Mexico and then to a settler who was credited as the person who established Cucamonga. In 2010, 165,269 people were living in the city. In 2016, the number increased to 176,534.

Rancho Cucamonga was part of a land grant on March 3, 1839. Around 13,000 acres of that land grant was given to a native of Los Angeles. This area was called "Cucamonga." It was later purchased in 1858 by a local couple. They built a house in 1860 in the area that soon became Rancho Cucamonga.

In 1887, an irrigation system was established in the new town. A railway company also extended train tracks to the area. This helped the Cucamonga area attract new residents. The town remained largely agricultural. The residents were mostly farmers and they planted and harvested olives, peaches, and citrus fruit. The area was composed of several unincorporated areas, but then in 1977, three of these communities, Cucamonga, Etiwanda, and Alta Loma, decided to incorporate. Together, they became Rancho Cucamonga on November 30, 1977.

Between two parks in present-day Rancho Cucamonga was once the location of another unincorporated community called Grapeland. It was first settled in 1869, and it had its own schoolhouse and school district. A reservoir was also built in the area between 1886 and 1887. However, after several years, the residents moved out when the orchards could not be cared for due to a problem with the water source. The post office was closed in 1905, and many of the residents settled to the nearby communities. In 1901, its school district merged with that of Etiwanda.

Rancho Cucamonga thrived primarily as the result of its strategic location on a local railway line. Consequently, the region is ideal for nature lovers, and there are many different parks and numerous hiking trails in the city. Rancho Cucamonga is also home to spectacular waterfalls.

There are more than 21 miles of scenic countryside that stretches between Rialto and Claremont. One of the most historical locations in Rancho Cucamonga is a historical house. In 1861, it was constructed on Vineyard Avenue. It housed the city's founder and first settler. The house is currently on the national list of historic places.

Sapphire Falls in the city is another park that provides recreation space. There is a trail there that leads to Cucamonga Canyon, which is well-known for offering one of the most scenic hikes in the region that pass through ravines and gullies prior to arriving at the sparkling waterfall.

The year 2005 brought the dedication of Central Park which covers some 103 acres. This park offers visitors and residents numerous grassy areas and walking trails and is one of the most loved green spots in the city, in spite of it being relatively new.
