Frequently Asked Questions
Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Corona, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.
Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Corona is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.
The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.
We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.
A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.
If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Corona, CA Tidbits
The city of Corona is located in Riverside County, California. It is surrounded by nearby communities like Riverside, Eastvale, Chino Hills, and Yorba Linda. It is also bordered by a national forest and several mountains. Corona has a water area of 0.08 square miles and a land area of 39.47 square miles. The city has an elevation of 679 feet and a population of 166,785 residents. It ranks third in Riverside County and 33rd in the state of California by population.
Corona was founded and incorporated in 1886 when the southern region of California became well-known for its citrus fruit. Back then, it was called "South Riverside" and was known as the lemon capital of the world. In fact, there is a local museum dedicated to showcasing the importance of the lemon industry in the city and state's economy. Corona is sometimes called "The Circle City" because of its layout. The city's design is also what inspired the residents to name their city "Corona".
A post office was established on August 11, 1887, with the name "South Riverside". After six years, it became part of the newly formed Riverside County. In 1896, the city of South Riverside was finally called "Corona". The city was well-known, not just for agricultural produce, but for its circular Grand Boulevard, which was used as a venue for racing in 1913, 1914, and 1916.
During the late 20th century, the city's agriculture industry mostly focused on citrus orchards, dairy farms, and ranches. Corona was close to the larger counties of Los Angeles and Orange County, but because it had more affordable real estate prices, many people settled here instead. During the latter part of the 1990s, the city was even considered a major Los Angeles suburb.
It is considered the gateway to Inland Empire and served as a bedroom community for people working in cities located in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. This was aided by the construction of California State Route 91. In turn, many businesses decided to establish offices and headquarters nearby Corona to be closer to employees working in Riverside County. When State Route 71 was constructed, it connected Corona to the valleys of Pomona and San Gabriel.
There are several historical landmarks in the city of Corona. One of them is a marker that represents the city's founders. It was created in 1936 and describes the purchase of South Riverside in 1886. It is now located in the city park. Just 11 miles from Highway 71 is a historic road that was used by early indigenous groups and settlers. There are also old structures built in the 1810s located on Interstate 15 and the Old Temescal Road owned by the city's early families.
The northern part of Corona is right next to the city of Norco. This neighborhood is mostly composed of houses that were built after the 1990s, as well as some commercial retailers and schools. Corona's downtown area is just a few steps from State Route 91 and is home to a museum and several office buildings. The historic structures can be found in Central Corona, and the western part of the city has many apartment complexes, mostly for people who work outside the city. It is also home to Coronita, an unincorporated city. There was an attempt at annexation, but it never came to fruition.
