Frequently Asked Questions

When is the Best Time to Buy a Mattress?

Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Temecula, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.

Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Temecula is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.

The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.

What is the Best Mattress of 2019?

We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.

How Often Should You Replace Your Pillow?

A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.

If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Temecula, CA Tidbits

From a mission outpost and a Mexican Rancho to an Indian crossroads settlement, a historic farmland, a railway community, and finally a modern city, Temecula is one of the most historic communities in Southern California. The city of Temecula, California is considered a southern anchor of the Inland Empire region. During the 2013 survey, the city had a population of 106,780 residents.

The Temecula Indian tribe was the first group of inhabitants in the region. They lived on the hillsides of what is now Temecula. As early as 900 A.D., descendants of the Temecula Indian tribe lived in this area. During the 1700s, the Temecula area was also inhabited by the Luiseno Indian people. In 1797, the first group of Spanish pioneers had arrived in the area.

The Mexican government established land grants in the middle of the 1800s. Rancho Temecula was also handed out in 1845. After several years, Temecula became a stopover on the Butterfield Overland Stagecoach route. This established the region as a center for commerce.

Temecula maintained many of its Mexican, Spanish, and American Native culture and customs long after California was ceded to the United States of America. It was 1875 when the final step in the modernization of the town happened. Some ten years later, the remaining Native Americans moved to the Pechanga Reservation.

A decade later, the economy in Temecula dramatically grew in 1882. In the 1980s, the city had invested in major industries like shipping, cattle, and stone quarries. The post office was able to provide a way for the residents to build a dam for the Temecula River in 1948, thus giving birth to Vail Lake.

The stagecoaches brought numerous pioneers to the region and mail became one of the most important links for the remainder of the nation. Railroad lines between National City and Temecula was finally completed, which provided service between the two communities in 1882. A small business boom started in Temecula as the result of the access to and from San Diego.

This railroad line was extended to San Bernardino in 1883, which provided for a thriving commerce. Innovations in the next century brought in more job opportunities for the early settlers. New roads were established during the early part of the 1900s, which helped to open up Temecula to the outside world.

In 1968, grapes were harvested. By 1984, there were already several farms that focused on producing grapes. The year 1989 brought with it the official incorporation of Temecula, which started growing at an amazing rate. The population of Temecula is currently more than 100,000 people.

Most of its public schools have been ranked among the top-performing ones in terms of academics in Riverside County. The Temecula Valley Unified School District handles many schools like Great Oak High School, Temecula Valley High, and Chaparral High. There are also eight private schools in the city, as well as five charter schools.

The local government had created projects for the establishment of a Southwest County College Education Center that would have classes from surrounding colleges and universities. Currently, the city has a Temecula Higher Education Center on Business Park Drive. It was established to allow high school graduates to gain tertiary education without leaving the city. It was created in cooperation with Mt. San Jacinto College and Cal State San Marcos, which currently also has a campus in Temecula.
