Frequently Asked Questions
Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Orange, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.
Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Orange is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.
The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.
We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.
A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.
If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Orange, CA Tidbits
The city of Orange is located in Orange County, California and it has residential structures that were built before the 1920s. This is rare in the region since many of cities have already demolished older houses during the 1960s. During the 2010 census, the city had 136,416 residents. Back when the city had just been incorporated, there were only 678 people living in Orange.
While it's true that there are a lot of oranges in the city of Orange, the original community didn't have a lot of them. The town primarily grew raisins, but when they were wiped out, orange trees were later planted. The town, however, was named after the birthplace of one of the city's founders. That place was Orange County, Virginia.
The city's settlement began with the Tongva, a group of Native American people before the start of the 18th century. In 1769, a Spanish expedition led several settlers to the area, which was later named "Vallejo de Santa Ana" or the Valley of Saint Anne. Then, in 1801, this area was part of the land grant given to high-ranking officials in the Spanish government. The city of Orange came from a ranch land called "Rancho San Antonio". This consisted of the cities that are now called Villa Park, Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Tustin, and Olive.
The community of modern Orange started with two lawyers in 1864. They owned around 5,400 acres of land near the Santiago Creek. The community near that area was called "Richland". However, the community's population increased, which prompted the construction of a post office. After submitting the proposal, the name "Richland" was rejected because there was already a town with the same name and it was in Sacramento County, California. So, the residents proposed a new name, which was "Orange".
In 1888, the community of Orange was finally incorporated. During this time, the town was also unofficially called "Plaza City" because it was planned around a plaza. This was also around the time that the residents planted many orange trees in the area. There was high demand for citrus fruits, and California became one of the top producers. This was the "Orange Era" and the city of Orange was one of the country's major players in the industry.
Orange has many known schools that are home to college athletic teams. The city's higher education institutions include Chapman University and Santiago Canyon College. The Orange Unified School District serves the Orange High School, Villa Park High School, and El Modena High School. There are several K12 private schools and one middle school in the city. There are plans to construct more since the 2016 population estimate is 140,504 Orange residents.
One of the most prominent local landmarks and historical structure in the city of Orange is the old depot of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. The company discontinued its train services in 1971, but the structure still stands to this day. It has been renovated and remodeled to house different establishments since then.
