Frequently Asked Questions
Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Murrieta, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.
Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Murrieta is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.
The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.
We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.
A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.
If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Murrieta, CA Tidbits
The city of Murrieta rests in Riverside County, California. The city had a 133.7 percent increase in population size from 2000 to 2010, with 103,466 residents in the latest national census.
Some natural hot springs, rich green grass, a large beautiful valley, sycamores, and very large towering oak trees were first seen by Spanish explorers who settled on 52,000 acres of land. It was primarily used for a sheep ranching operation that originated from Central California. In 1874, more than 100,000 sheep grazed in the area that would one day be the city of Murrieta.
Tracks were laid by the Southern California Railway system that linked the southern transcontinental to the valley in 1882. The settlement of Murrieta was experiencing its first boom, and the population size reached 800 residents.
Murrieta received international renown when a hot springs relaxation center was established in the area. This drew in many tourists and visitors from other states. During the latter half of the 1900s, the city thrived because of the hot springs. After the 1930s, the trains stopped running in the valley.
For the next 50 years, Murrieta remained mostly untouched by the rest of the Southern California region. When Interstate 5 was extended, a lot of residents came to the area. This prompted the rise of construction of affordable housing. The year 1991 brought the official incorporation of Murrieta as a city. At that time, the population of the city was over 24,000.
Over 85,000 residents had relocated to Murrieta by 2005. This made it one of the five largest cities in Riverside County. A considerable number of businesses and people were attracted to the city of Murrieta as the result of reasonably priced housing, beautiful scenery, and mild climate.
The community has the lowest crime rates in Southern California and several expanding employment opportunities, including medical facilities, recreation centers, and schools, which are rated within the top 10 percent of the nation. In 2014 and 2015, it was determined that Murrieta was the second safest city in the country.
The city had a fire department that was run by volunteers for over 39 years. It only became an official fire protection department in 1987. In terms of health care, the city is served by three hospitals. There are two interstates running through the city, making it easy for residents to access nearby cities.
Many of the residents in Murrieta work in nearby cities located in the Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties, as well as in the cities of Temecula and Camp Pendleton. The Murrieta Valley Unified School District serves around 11 elementary schools, three middle schools, and three high schools. Because of the rapid increase in the number of residents, additional schools are being constructed.
The nearest community college to Murrieta is the Mt. San Jacinto College Menifee campus, while the biggest public college is the University of California, Riverside. The city of Murrieta itself is home to the learning center of the University of Phoenix and a satellite campus of the Azusa Pacific University.
