Frequently Asked Questions
Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Chula Vista, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.
Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Chula Vista is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.
The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.
We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.
A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.
If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Chula Vista, CA Tidbits
With a 243,916 population size, Chula Vista is considered the second largest city in the San Diego metropolitan area and the seventh largest city in Southern California. Translated from Spanish as "Beautiful View", Chula Vista is known for its picturesque location that's between the coastal mountain foothills and San Diego Bay.
Like most of the towns around the San Diego area, Chula Vista was formerly occupied by the indigenous tribes around year 3000 B.C. In the 14th century, explorers and settlers claimed the land gave it the name "Rancho del Rey". After several years, the name was changed to "Rancho de la Nacion" after the land grant systems in the 1790s. In 1888, a dam was a constructed, and this allowed the irrigation of the entire city. Because of this, the community was able to grow and harvest citrus fruits. In fact, Chula Vista became the largest lemon-growing city in the entire world.
Years after, agriculture flourished in Chula Vista after the residents started growing the lemon orchards. A boiler plant was put up in the 1960s and many people flocked to the city to work in the farm lands and the boiler plant. This doubled Chula Vista's population. Since then, Chula Vista had become a bustling city in California.
There are several things that anyone can see in this "beautiful view" of a city. Mountains entice hikers, bikers, and thrill-seekers to experience the great outdoors. The San Diego Bay is also a stunning view at Chula Vista, not to mention the parks and the historic old town district.
Chula Vista is also surrounded by various bodies of water like the San Diego Bay, which stretches along San Diego, National City, Chula Vista, Imperial Beach, and Coronado. Aside from functioning as a commercial port for container ships and as a cruise ship terminal, this bay has ten historical museums.
Chula Vista is also a city known for its strong advocacy on preserving animal habitats and for promoting a green environment. Hence, Chula Vista has an environmental education center with land and marine animal conservation exhibits.
It has a turtle lagoon where eastern pacific green sea turtles can be found. Another habitat is for the jellyfish, eels, sea stars, seahorses, octopus, lobsters, snakes, and more. The different species of sharks are in another exhibit space along with the diamond sting rays, bat rays, crab, and schools of fish. The center also has an aviary and a spot for bird-watching.
Chula Vista's regional park is the city's most prominent parks and it has a huge land mass for biking, horseback riding, hiking, and picnics. With almost 11 miles of land stretching from the southeastern edge of the river beds of the Otay River to the Otay River Valley and settling around both Upper and Lower Otay Lakes, Chula Vista is quickly becoming a major vacation destination.
