Frequently Asked Questions
Looking for a good mattress sale can be tricky. If you’re looking at brick-and-mortar locations in Menifee, always ask the sales associate when the sale ends and often the sale runs. If you’re looking online, check to see if the mattress company offers promo codes or referral codes for deeper discounts.
Generally, the best time to buy a mattress in Menifee is during one of the four major holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Presidents Day.
The Black Friday mattress sale is often one of the best, with most mattress companies offering a few hundred dollars off their mattress plus free pillows or sheets.
We are a little biased but we like the Amerisleep AS3. We were one of the first bed in box companies and we have worked tirelessly to provide a comfortable and supportive mattress at an affordable price.
A good mattress can only do so much. Finding the best pillow for your neck is just as important. Most people don’t know you should replace your pillow every 2-3 years. Pillows often lose their shape and support faster than a mattress.
If looking for the best pillow, consider investing in a memory foam pillow but look for one that has a ventilated airways or promotes breathability.

Menifee, CA Tidbits
Menifee is located in Southern, California and is situated in the southwestern Riverside County. Since it is in the middle of Southern California, it sits between Los Angeles and San Diego County. It has an elevation of 1,424 feet and the area is about 46 square miles in size.
The city borders the community of Murrieta and is also located miles north of the community of Temecula. According to the census that was taken in 2016, the population of Menifee was approximately 89,004 people. The community of Menifee includes parts of Romoland as well as the communities of Paloma Valley, Quail Valley, and Sun City. The city is also located about some 30 miles southeast of Riverside.
It's easy to get to the city since I-215 runs south and north right through the middle of Menifee. The current city commercial regions are mainly located on McCall Road of Interstate-215, as well as along Newport, Bradley. The communities that surround Menifee include Wildomar, Perris, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, and Canyon Lake on the south, west and north borders.
Initially, Menifee's history began with the Pechanga and Luiseno Native American tribes. During the 1700s, the Spanish empire took over the region, which was eventually annexed from Mexico into the U.S. for California Statehood. In 1850, during the middle of the 1800s, farming activity was concentrated in the Menifee region. During the early 19th century, mining activity started after the discovery of a significant quartz lode in area.
In the early 1960s, the economic development of the community of Menifee started with Sun City. A major building company from Phoenix Arizona designed the retirement community for active older adults. Several Sun City communities were already established in Arizona during this time, and the project had found its way to California. Together with Quail Valley, this was soon incorporated in 2008 as the city of Menifee. Quail Valley is now one of the city's neighborhoods.
The Sun Cities have always been popular throughout the country because of their beautiful residential structures, parks, recreation centers, and healthcare facilities, as well as its centers for active older adults. Many people who decided to live in Sun City, Menifee were from the north. These "snowbirds" wanted to live out their later years in life in a place that was warm. Thousands of them settled in the Sun City in Menifee, which increased the city's economic value and population.
During the late 1980s and early 1990s, the region around Menifee increased as a community that was master-planned. However, the city lacked resources that included high density commercial and retail businesses, as well as industry-oriented occupations. This caused many residents to drive for longer distances to work in nearby cities like Murrieta and Temecula.
In recent years, there had been some considerable increase of growth in Menifee. This is because the city had constructed new amenities that included large parks, lakes, and new home constructions, which attracted many new residents from all regions of Southern California like Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire.
Within the community of Menifee, there are several middle schools and elementary schools. Supervision is provided by the Romoland School District as well as the Menifee Union School District. The Perris Union High School District also provides high school education. The city also offers higher education for its residents. The city has a campus for Mount Jacinto College, which serves the students from the Menifee, Murrieta, and Temecula areas.
