We sell mattress foundations and adjustable beds you can use to support any of our mattresses. Our mattress foundations are an affordable way to ensure your bed has consistent, stable, and breathable support. Both of our adjustable bed bases can increase your comfort in bed, allowing you to raise your body for better blood flow and breathing.

You may also have a perfectly suitable mattress base at home. If your bed frame has slats, make sure they are no more than 3 inches apart. When the slats are too far apart, the mattress can sink between the slats and compromise the bed’s support.

Should I get a 10 or 12-inch mattress at the Amerisleep mattress store near South Union?

It depends on your sleeping style. Our only 10-inch mattress is the AS1 memory foam mattress, which has a firm feel suitable for stomach and back sleepers.

Our 12-inch mattresses come in medium-firm, medium, or medium-soft feels:

The medium-firm mattress is our AS2 and works best for back sleepers. Some stomach sleepers and combination sleepers may also enjoy its feel.
The medium mattress is our most popular model, the AS3. Its balance of cushion and support is excellent for side and combination sleepers, along with back sleepers who want a touch of softness.
The medium-soft mattress is our AS4 model. It contours to and cradles a side sleeper’s body well.

Will a hybrid mattress from the South Union Amerisleep mattress store sag?

We can’t guarantee that our hybrid mattresses will never sag—no mattress company can offer that kind of promise. Mattresses often sag with age as supporting materials wear out.

However, we have taken steps to ensure our design is unlikely to develop deep indendations with use. We’re so confident our mattresses will resist sagging that we offer a 20-year warranty with coverage for any mattress that sags beyond 0.75 inches.

Do hybrid mattresses last longer?

It depends on what mattress type you’re comparing a hybrid to. Hybrids tend to last longer than a traditional innerspring mattress, which can sag within a few short years. Hybrids and memory foam mattresses have comparable lifespans though.

Are memory foam mattresses bad for your back?

No, memory foam is not inherently bad for your back. However, a memory foam mattress can cause back pain if it's unsuited for your sleeping style. Sleeping on a too-soft mattress can cause your spine to slip out of its natural curve, while a too-firm mattress may instead raise it out of alignment.
