There is no noticeable break-in period with the Amerisleep WoolGuard Protector. The cotton percale top provides a soft, high-quality feel immediately after placing it on your bed. The wool fill may compress slightly over the first few nights but remains comfortable.
While the wool has insulating properties, the breathable cotton layer prevents excess heat buildup. Air flows through the protector rather than trapping body heat near your skin. It regulates temperature well.
