We are excited to offer shipping to our Canadian customers! Our mattresses and accessories are shipped via FedEx and typically take two to three weeks to arrive. Additional customs duties and taxes may apply.

Adjustable beds do more than adjust to your preferred position— although that’s a huge plus for anyone with poor circulation, chronic pain, or snoring issues. Some other features you’ll find in adjustable bed frames include:
Amerisleep currently sells its adjustable base in twin XL, queen, and split king sizes. Most adjustable bases are built for larger sizes (i.e. larger than twin size) since they are most often used by adults and couples.
Unlike many mattresses, adjustable bases do not come with sleep trials and are nonrefundable. However, they are still backed by their respective warranties. Amerisleep's Adjustable Bed+ does not include a sleep trial and is a non-returnable, final sale item. Its 10-year warranty is broken up into separate parts. For the first year, repairs and replacements are fully covered. After that, a limited warranty is available during years 2-5. Parts may be replaced but the customer is responsible for service and transportation costs. The defective parts must be returned to our facility within 14 days too.
During years 6-10, replacement parts are available at a prorated cost. Customers would also be responsible for shipping and service costs. Warranty coverage is voided if there is damage caused by the owner.
Almost anyone could benefit from using an adjustable bed frame. Your preferred sleeping position comes into play as you choose a new mattress, and certain mattress choices don’t work as well with adjustable bed frame.
Side sleepers who prefer a medium feel mattress typically like memory foam or latex beds, since they offer a good balance of support and contouring. These mattress types are great for adjustable bed frames.
Back and stomach sleepers typically prefer a firmer mattress (between medium-firm or firm). Thankfully, back and stomach sleepers won’t be left out of the adjustable base trend just because they sleep on firmer beds. Many memory foam and latex mattresses come in medium-firm or firm ranges. What’s more, firmer memory foam beds tend to be thinner than super-soft models, so they will adjust more easily.
Adjustable bed frames allow you to raise your legs and head to a higher position than the rest of the body. This is convenient if you like to read or watch TV in bed, but it also comes with great health benefits.
Anyone with back pain knows how uncomfortable sleeping can be. An adjustable bed frame takes the pressure off the back and other vulnerable pressure points, helping you to sleep pain-free. People with GERD, acid reflux, heartburn, and other digestive issues often have to sleep with a high-loft pillow to elevate their heads, keeping stomach acid out of the throat. An adjustable bed frame makes this easier. If you suffer from poor circulation, elevating your legs improves blood flow.
Snoring and sleep apnea are caused by the tongue or soft tissue of the throat blocking the airway. Gravity only makes this problem worse, which is why those suffering from these conditions usually sleep with their heads at an incline to open up the airway.
Adjustable bases allow you to elevate the head with the simple touch of a remote. If you share your bed with a snoring partner, you can press the anti-snore button and elevate their heads while they sleep without them even noticing!
Adjustable bases replace the need for a frame, but they typically don’t come with headboards like traditional frames do. Some people like to use their adjustable bed inside of their already existing frame. We also offer headboard brackets you can purchase separately so that you can directly attach your headboard to your adjustable bed base. Please don’t hesitate to give us a call for more information on this item!
Because adjustable bed bases use lots of mechanical parts, they are more likely to break down versus a traditional bed base. Repairs and replacements aren’t covered for the entire length of a warranty, so that’s why reading the warranty thoroughly is an important step before buying an adjustable base. Even the best adjustable bed frames won’t last forever.
Adjusting the positions can be noisy, as well as the massage feature if the bed has one. However, most high-quality adjustable bed frames are built with fairly quiet mechanical features, so you shouldn’t be too bothered by the sound.
The Amerisleep Adjustable Bed+ comes with 6”, 9”, and 12” adjustable legs. Since the base is 3” tall by itself, the base plus the legs can modify the height of the frame from 9” to 15”. This allows you to get the right height just for you.
The Amerisleep Adjustable Bed Frame allows you to adjust your sleeping position for optimal rest, healthy posture, and increased circulation all night long. You can also conveniently watch TV or read in bed while maintaining a healthy posture. With their bed package deal, you can get an adjustable bed frame and one of their pressure-relieving, comfortable mattresses at a great price.
Latex and memory foam mattresses are the most flexible mattress type and work best with adjustable bases. Hybrid and innerspring mattresses are made with coil springs in the base, so they may be damaged if bent into a different shape.
Additionally, keep in mind that thinner mattresses work better with adjustable bases— a mattress more than 14 inches thick will not be as flexible and may not work with an adjustable base. Check with the manufacturer to see if your bed is compatible with an adjustable base. Some brands offer mattress and bed bundles, allowing you to purchase an adjustable bed frame and compatible mattress at a discounted price.
An adjustable base is significantly more expensive than most traditional bases, but for many, they’re worth the extra cost. Because they are quite expensive, it’s important to get one with a generous warranty since some adjustable bases are prone to breaking down.
Some adjustable bed frames are covered by Medicare, so check with your doctor for more information. Most adjustable bed frames available today cost between $1,000 and $3,500.
At the moment, we do not offer split queen beds. We only offer split king sizes. That’s because split queen mattresses and split queen size adjustable bed frames are not as common as split kings. A split queen is made up of two bases 30 inches wide and 80 inches long. You can use them side by side or next to each other.
Complete your sleep experience with the perfect mattress.
